Hi all, unfortunately I won’t be able to make it to the developer meeting tomorrow. I suspect Lars and Jarrod may not be able to make it either. Shall we postpone this one?

The most notable current event is the release of 0.24, which Jarrod is working on, and which will add back support for Python 3.9 to address compatibility issues with NumPy 2.0, which was just released.

Sounds good!

I’m excited for this next release; coincidentally, Python 3.9 support will also help me with my reproducibility project. I’ll go ahead and read the release notes for NumPy 2.0!
