The scikit-image team is excited to announce the release of v0.24!
The most prominent feature in this release is thin-plate-spline transforms, which was built in collaboration with our amazing Outreachy interns. We also added a new function that can remove labeled objects, starting with the smallest, until a certain minimum distance threshold is met.
Otherwise, this release includes a whole bunch of maintenance & documentation improvements, and is fully compatible with the newly released NumPy 2.0.
