Endorsing SPECs 3, 6, 7, 8

Hey @skimage-core,

we are at EuroSciPy and are currently going through the available SPECs to see if we want to endorse additional ones.

Note that endorsing doesn’t mean we have to implement or follow everything, just that we endorse and recommend this practice for the wider ecosystem. We may chose to not implement something because it doesn’t make sense for us.

Here’s what we (@mkcor, @stefanv and me) think we should endorse:

We will open draft PRs in the next few days to endorse the SPECs and will notify you here. Please take a look and see if you have any concerns with endorsing these SPECs and tell us. :slight_smile:

I left 3 off for now, since it is still in draft mode.
