still around even though I had previously convinced Hameer that it has bad scoping?!

skip_backend is now deprecated.

• update __ua_convert__ documentation to at least change it to note that it is not OK to coerce other types even if it is fast;
• tell people that they must only match based on types to allow adding type based caching?

I suggest raising issues for these in the uarray repo.

I might add: I no longer work on this at my day job, and wasn’t subscribed to this thread, it got fairly noisy.
